Initial situation

The Swiss Startup Association (SSA) had not yet implemented any measures in the area of SEO. The focus to date has been on events, Google Ads and partnerships with companies.

In order to consolidate its market position as the largest startup network in the online sector, the organization decided to invest in SEO. The SSA turned to Beyondweb to develop a clear SEO strategy and build internal expertise in SEO.

APPROACH

In a six-week SEO sprint, we held a workshop that taught the basics of SEO. The focus topics were the optimization of category, product and blog pages, how the SSA can create user-centric, SEO-friendly content in-house and the optimization of internal links.

In addition, the Swiss Startup Association received a range of services, including a keyword and blogging strategy, an on-page SEO checklist, access to our SEO toolstack and a 25-page on-page SEO guide. Two final coaching sessions helped the SSA to put what they had learned into practice.

The SEO sprint enabled the organization to build internal competencies so that they could work independently on their SEO strategy in the long term. The entire sprint was designed in such a way that it could be easily integrated into the daily work routine and enabled sustainable success.

RESULTS

Thanks to the SEO sprint, the Swiss Startup Association was able to identify numerous areas for improvement in order to make better use of its established network in the Swiss startup scene. In addition, over 100 new keywords were discovered that will enable the association to generate more organic search queries and sustainably improve its Google visibility.

The Swiss Startup Association was enthusiastic about the collaboration with Beyondweb and is already seeing the first successes. The clear strategies and practical tools that could be used directly in day-to-day work were particularly appreciated. The organization now feels well equipped to implement its SEO measures independently.
