Beyondweb has shown us as a municipality new ways in which we can use the potential of our website specifically for tourism. From the strategy, concept and design to the technical implementation, the team did an impressive job.

Initial situation

The existing website was outdated, difficult to manage and hardly intuitive for users. Important information was difficult to find and it was not possible to handle processes online. This led to increased workload for the administration team.

Due to the variety of content and regulatory requirements, such as accessibility, the municipality did not know where to start and sought support from Beyondweb.

APPROACH

In an initial workshop, we defined the organizational identity of the municipality of Langenbruck. This included analyzing the target groups, describing the services offered and clarifying their meaning and purpose. This resulted in a clear understanding of the users' needs and the requirements for the new website.

We then developed a strategy and analysis to precisely plan the complexity of the website, the interfaces, the branding guidelines and the content strategy. During the implementation phase, we created new content, adapted existing content and worked with a photographer for images. Wireframes and web design were created in several feedback rounds and tested extensively before development.

After the backend and frontend development, we carried out extensive testing. The new website only went live after successful testing.

RESULTS

The new website now reflects the desired positioning of the municipality of Langenbruck and strengthens its image as an attractive tourist municipality. At the same time, the structured presentation of the entire range of offers appeals specifically to residents of the municipality, who can now conveniently submit a large number of inquiries online using the online portal.

Thanks to the introduction of a new website, the majority of administrative processes have been digitized and made more efficient. This saves time for both users and the administration team and offers considerable added value for residents. We were able to exceed the expectations of the municipal council and are delighted that we will be able to continue supporting the municipality of Langenbruck in the future.
