Initial situation

The challenge was to turn the pure online business card into a platform for digital customer acquisition.

To achieve this, on the one hand, the content in the area of strategy consulting should be restructured and, on the other hand, HERZKA's professionalism and creativity should be highlighted through high-quality photographs.

STRATEGY & IMPLEMENTATION

Through an initial strategy workshop, HERZKA's strategic goals were defined and the target group, design direction and content strategy were established. Based on user personas and user stories, we developed a user-centered design for HERZKA.

The design was created in various stages from low-fidelity wireframes to animated high-fidelity Adobe XD mockups. HERZKA was included in the creation process with the help of feedback loops.

A simplistic look based on the colors white and blue was chosen for the design, which is intended to underline the professionalism of the company. These tones were accentuated with complementary pastel colors intended to highlight the artistic and creative background of the two owners. The page structure and content were also optimized for the search engine (SEO) so that higher visibility of the website could be achieved.

The number of online leads increased by an impressive 312%.

Thanks to the redesign and targeted on-page SEO measures, Vapeshop Gubrist climbed to first place for the competitive keyword “Vapeshop” within 6 months and was able to rank in the top 3 for the keyword “Vape Shop Zurich”.

Overall, the site ranked within the top 100 search results through targeted technical optimizations as well as on-page optimization of the texts for a total of 803 keywords - within just 6 months of SEO.

Customer satisfaction and positive feedback confirm the success of our work. Finally, the project showed that well-thought-out web design and a well-thought-out online strategy can have a decisive influence on business success.
